I’m not really a fan of boy bands. They are usually too clean cut and over styled for my liking. This all changed when I discovered The Churned; Welly clad, mud covered, hairy farmers with an aroma of cow dung. Bring it on. *Ahem* I mean, what a lovely bunch of chaps.
There’s a mug in our cupboard which I was sent by Yeo Valley. I let the Teenager have it. I say ‘let her have it’ but there may have been some arm wrestling involved. This mug adorned with, hunky farmers, The Churned, seems to have a funny effect on female folk when they visit. Last weekend, for instance, The Teenager’s friend visited. She of long hair who is a model, don’t you know, drank her tea from the cup and was reluctant to let it go. To prove the point The Teenager took a picture of the mug in use. When I suggested using the picture of She of long hair who is a model, don’t you know, in this post, The Teenager decided that she wanted to be the one seen with the hunky farmers mug, not that she REALLY likes them or anything, of course. Please note new fringe and vibrant red hair.
Every weekend, without fail, she sits and watches The X Factor and comments on the Yeo Valley advert on Twitter. She might also sing along to it, but she’d never admit to it. If you would like to sing along you should make sure you enter the Sing in Harmony competition for a chance to appear in the final advert on 11th December – http://on.fb.me/nRblqB. Watch out for the advert during tonight’s X-Factor. Phwoooooar. I mean …please.
In other Yeo Valley news … there’s a new yogurt on the farm. Pear and Butterscotch. I never thought that another could replace the affections I already have for Yeo Valley’s lemon curd yogurts. During the taste testing, which is the really hard part of being a Yeo Valley advocate, cough, I actually felt like I as cheating on the lemon curd. It’s a limited edition so I will go back to lemon curd when the pear and butterscotch affair ends.
… and I also might have imagined, whilst eating the yogurt, that one of The Churned made that yogurt just for me.

Loving my nieces hair
I LOVE those guys. Especially liked the rap they did a while ago – it was awesome.
The ads are total genius.
