The weekend that was …

We had a fantastic Easter weekend. Our friends came down from Scotland to stay with their two boys. The children were in their element and hardly argued at all. We ate too much, drunk too much and laughed lots. I don’t think you can ever laugh too much. Snot possible.

We hosted this years family egg roll and had a big family BBQ on Sunday. I rolled ‘Ninja’ egg and despite getting a couple of points didn’t come home with the egg rolling trophy. My Stepmum won so we can keep the egg rolling cup in West Yorkshire where it belongs. Yay!

Our friends left on Monday, leaving the house a little too quiet and the children started arguing again. Sigh.
