What a Super photographer at age 5! Last week I was taking pics on my camera and when I went to view them I saw a pic of my 6 year old's son face that he took close up of him winking at me!
Funny that the dog got caught red pawed!

We had a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, who was a walking bin. She knew she'd gone too far when we came home and found her in the middle of the kitchen table having emptied a cold cup of chocolate. She hadn't thought about how to get down and was rolling her eyes very sheepishly!

I have seen the puppy do this already which should give you some indication to the blimmin' size he's going to be (I'm suspecting lab crossed with husky or GSD). Tonight (as I'm really sick) we were having a sofa supper when he suddenly leapt on top of Man of the House and tried to take food from his plate. (He's not hungry, honest!)

We once had a dog (Springer Spaniel, mad) who nicked a freshly baked Ciabatta from a worktop during a dinner party. Everyone blamed one of the guests who was known for loving his food. We still laugh about it.

When I was growing up we had a mad golden retriever who nicked everything in sight including a whole Christmas cake. His finest hour was when we were staying with friends in Scotland in their huge house. My mums friend said to my mum "we've got the so and sos and their friends coming over for tea. It's a lovely day so I thought we'd have a picnic on the lawn" "marvellous" my mother replied. "Yes" her friend said, "I thought I'd get organised so I've laid it out already". "Laid it out, on the lawn?" said my mother, "Oh my god, where's the bloody dog...". Happened 30 yrs ago, we still talk about it.

I have that issue with our dog, Sunny. Everything has to to pushed right to back the back of the work surfaces or it's gone. We found him sucking Sam's dummy once.
Our dog Nellie who died last year used to eat everything in sight, including out of date eggs, empty tin cans and 6 months worth of my contraceptive pill.

Currently house a mutt made up of French labrador in part who is partial to opening the washdisher to enjoy the rotten remains of previous meals.

The Grandpees breed choc labs - best ever steal must have been an entire pheasant casserole demolished in minutes while leaving the ceramic dish unbroken (last Easter). Neither of the 2 labs involved could move for about 3 days!

Labs are like this tho - having taken the Ds to stay with friends for halfterm where I left about 20 sausages (just cooked and boiling hot) on the worktop while I turned to ask assembled childer how many they wanted - when I turned back the Silent Assassins of Doom had eaten the bluddy lot!!!

Thanks for dropping by. We're lucky in the respect that the dog has never bothered with the kdis toys ... and I doubt she would unless they were covered in Marmite or peanut butter.
