I love LEGO as you probably know. I am looking forward to the day when we wave goodbye to Duplo, which has served us well and I welcome with open arms boxes … and boxes of LEGO. For the children you understand …
This week we were sent four little bags. LEGO Minifigures. The children were excited. You can’t tell what’s in each bag … a clever ploy to collect more figures I presume.
We got three ninjas and a magician. I thought the 4 and 5 year old would be disappointed that they were inundated with ninjas but no. They had fun swapping the heads round and I can see that mixing and matching would be more fun as the collection grows. They also discussed at length which other ones from the collection they wanted. I have my eye on a rather handsome Indiana Jones minifigure.
Lots of little pieces and attachments means that I’m having to buy my first LEGO storage box to store our little people in and the pig farm we got a couple of months ago. I cannot tell you how much this fills me with excitement.
Oh, and we’ve lost a ninja … but I am assured that thet’s what ninjas do, crafty little buggers.
My twit friend @chrisandharvey sent me this. It helps to recognise the barcodes … therefore only collecting the ones you want. Sneaky.
LEGO Minifgures get a big thumbs up from me … and the children!
I am now a finalist in the MAD Awards for Funniest Mad Blog where you can vote for me to win … if you want to! (Voting ends on the 6th of June at Midnight)

I’ve seen these bad boys. My son loves Lego, and especially the figures, but I wondered about the randomness of what you get causing me a problem. As in, the boy not being satisfied until he got the right one.
I am so very very happy. I will now go and spend lots of money…
Sleep with your eyes open. That ninja is out to get you.
its a kids page [twit, bugger] but was cool
