Review – LEGO Minifigures – Series 2

Great joy filled the Driver household once more at the weekend with the arrival of more LEGO minifigures.  Four to be exact.

The last time we were sent some minifigures (Series 1) we worked out that although the packets were all the same you could work out from the barcode which figure was inside.  So, this time, being LEGO savvy, or so I thought, I immediately checked the bar codes to see if they were all different.  Alas, they were all the same.  Still, we already have four ninjas, two zombies and two magicians. Clearly they like to live in groups. Ahem.

Anyway, I explained to the children that they could have two each and that they were identical.

Except, they were not! Cue drum roll. LEGO have clearly cottoned on to the fact that people were checking the barcodes of the minifigures to complete their sets and have decided to just give them all the same barcode.

So this time we were blessed with a Vampire, A surf dude with amazing sunkissed blonde locks, a lion tamer and a weight lifter (complete with sweaty grimace).

… and really I don’t care that LEGO have duped me, I love adding to ‘my’ LEGO family. Check out the Mexican Bandit … he’s welcome to pop in anytime with his maracas.

These are so cool. Haven’t seen them in shops here in Ireland. Love the 70s Disco dude.
