Review – IKEA MÅLA Easel

Written by on February 1, 2011 in Product Reviews, REVIEWS - 1 Comment

The MÅLA easel arrived from IKEA a few weeks ago and has been a permanent feature in our playroom ever since.

The easel is a 3-in-1.  There is a wipe board on one side which you can also feed paper through to paint/draw on and there is a blackboard on the other side.

The 5 year old has, this week, discovered a passion for painting moody brooding pictures.   The chalk board is good for practising …. and practising and practising his letters.

The 6 year old likes the wipe-board because she can pretend she is a bossy teacher writing spellings on it. There’s something for everyone and the fact they can both play at the same time, doing different things is a bonus.

The roll of paper slides through the easel so it can be pulled down and each ‘masterpiece’ torn off for drying.

What is amazing is that the MÅLA easel is only £15.31.  A roll of paper is £3.00.  A complete bargain and a big hit in the Driver house.
