Review – Green’s Cookies With Love

We were sent some lurrve cookies to try out. The 5 year old, who has just had 4 weeks of baking club with school, rose to the challenge and assisted me.  Or it might have been the other way round.  I like anything that’s easy, especially when it comes to baking so Green’s Cookies were just right.

Following the simple instructions we made the cookie dough, then we used the heart cutter provided to cut them out.  I think I made the icing sugar too thin and the tube with the blackcurrant writing gel was a bit too difficult for the 5 year old to squeeze and control at the same time.  Still he enjoyed himself and even made one for his sister.  If you look at my efforts, aged 32, I wasn’t much better.

The Husband was pleased with his lurrve cookie, even if he did think the one we presented him with said ‘I love my D’ (Daddy).  It actually said ‘I love Mr D’.

… and they say romance is dead *cough*.
