Muddy Puddles asked my two adventurers to test some of their products. Having admired their gear from afar we happily agreed. They have something for every season.
What we thought …
Ruffty Tuffty Cotton Top (£19.50, currently in the sale from £14.50)
This is a really nice top. The 4 year old wears it to nursery and to play out in on slightly colder days. Ideal for children who think nothing of commando rolling across the garden and scraping their elbows along walls. This top is really hard wearing. A personal perk for me … it has a hookable label which means I can put it on the 4 year old’s nursery peg without it falling off.
Puddlepac Raincoat (£20)
The 6 year old has been using this for school. The fact that it folds into itself is just brilliant, meaning it can go snugly in her school bag and be taken out when needed. It’s bright, lightweight and size wise looks like it will last a while.
UV All In One Suit (Currently £18.75)
We tested these out on holiday in Italy. After the initial confusion with the 4 year old who thought the zip should go up the front we loved them. We found the all in one suits particularly useful in the afternoons. After a morning at the pool in a normal swimsuit the kids wore them at the beach, giving the them extra protection from the sun. The fit was snug, so next time, I would probably go up a size to get more wear out of it.
The quality of the things we were sent from Muddy Puddles was excellent. Good, hard wearing essentials that will last a long time and look great.
