The Meerkat Family arrived yesterday. The set was easy to put together and the meerkats are adorable with an air of wiliness about them.
As you can see the meerkats came with some ‘meerkat food’. The teeniest little pellets EVER. Within seconds the meerkat food had spilled all over the carpet and the zoo keeper was clearing it up with her teeny tiny dustpan and brush.
After finding several pieces of meerkat food in strange places I decided their diet needed changing. They are now on a diet of cauliflower and bananas and the teeny tiny meerkat pellets have been confiscated.

Easy to put together and will go really nicely with the zoo we were sent (review to follow). The 5 year old managed to get the giraffe and the meerkat family aboard for a little trip around the living room last night. It was slightly cramped but I think they had a good time exploring the bookshelf safari. The jeep has amazing suspension for off road safari type trips. The giraffe has a sly look of condescension on his face. I don’t think he likes sharing the trailer.

Will have to get my DD to write a review about her Playmobil collection! She and her little brothers are huge fans and have loads
We love it, we just need some new storage now!
