I first published this post in August 2009. It’s about the Friendship between my boy and his dog. I’m posting it again for Tara’s Gallery because it’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the theme!
They play together every day. He throws her ball, he follows her around, he sits with her and some days he just lies on her. He hits her and she paws him back. She plays with him as she would another dog, sometimes putting her teeth round his arm gently. They play cricket together, she is his fielder.
He loves his dog and I think she quite possibly loves him back.

So cute! I hope Blondie Boy and the Emma Dog get along this well when he’s older. He’s only just started to take an interest in her.

So beautiful. Our dog however now has a nervous disposition – something to do with kids screaming “No” at her every time she moves, poor thing.

Ooh, I VERY nearly did this too. I’ve got some gorgeous photos of my boy and our Dog together. In the end the photos of him and his bestie won, because their daddies are best buddies too. I think its really important for kids to grow up around animals. Dogs are amazing around kids. Lovely photos. Xx

that is literally the most adorable think i’ve ever seen- has cheered up an otherwise lousy day and made me smile!
It is divine! We had a fab chocolate lab who we lost last November but our black lab of one year is all of our best friend! They are simply heaven sent.

Lovely lovely lovely! I grew up with a golden retriever and we had a relationship like your two. I still miss him 20 years later *sad sigh*
