Woah, woah, woah…hold it there, sister. I live in Ireland. We do not recycle. The whole recycling thang hasn’t reached the Emerald Isle at all. Recycling choices in Ireland are as follows:

1: Pretend you’re out for a nice country drive, pull up by the side of the road and chuck it out the window

2: Buy all your alcohol in the pub, thereby transferring the whole ‘what shall I do with this bottle?’ problem to the publican

3: If it’s small enough, chuck it in the bin, whereby it will be transferred by a private waste contractor to a large, once beautiful area of countryside where he… oh, let’s face it, buries it in a big hole.

4: If it’s something big, like a washing machine – chuck it in the bog.

That is all. Am I excused?
