We were sent some Lego Duplo Cars 2 sets. They were VERY welcome on day 3 of the rainiest Summer holiday ever.
It didn’t take long for us to set them up and turn the playroom into a Cars 2 village. We had four sets in total; 5819 : Tokyo Racing, 5818 : Luigi’s Italian Place, 5828 : Big Bentley and 5817 : Agent Mater.
The 7 year old enjoyed following the instructions to make the sets for her brother and he put all the cars together. All four of the sets were great but the Big Bentley set (5828) was one of their favourites, with both children winching various vehicles up the clock tower. The 5 year old’s favourite set was the Agent Mater set (5817) which had a cannon he could shoot. He made a whole target gallery in our new Cars 2 village.
The Cars 2 sets are a definite hit. Both children have spent a lot of time playing and returning to play with them. We’ll just have to go and see the film next …
