Ideas for the Easter Holidays – The Croods

TheCroods_DPKWe were lucky enough to get tickets from the lovely people at the Odeon to take the family and some of our friends to the 3D screening of The Croods at the weekend.

The Croods is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world’s first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures – and their outlook is changed forever.

We went with friends and it is definitely a family film – both the adults and children were engrossed. We laughed and some of us, not me, almost shed a tear. We saw it in 3D which was amazing – the vibrant colours and the bizarre animals along with the characters and hilarious antics really make this film.

The Croods is out tonight (22nd of March) … if you’re looking for something to do with the kids in the Easter holidays then this could be the one. Check out the trailer below and see if you recognise the voices of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds and Emma Stone …
