We got our GoGo hamster from Toys R Us, Child Two played with it for approx 2 mins, and since then it’s only been touched occasionally by the cat, who once managed to activate it and shrieked her way up the curtains. Still, it doesn’t poop, I’ll say that for it

Those are flying of the shelves here in the US as well. Only here they are called Zhu Zhu pets, which I’m assuming means “go go” in Chinese. Which is also good to know when China decides to come and colonize America and make us all indentured servants to pay off our debt to them. When they yell “Zhu Zhu” to me I will be able to hustle and get right on making the next crappy toy for your children! (Ha-Ha) (no emoticons for me I’m old-school!).

I was blissfully ignorant of Go GO Hamsters. I like to think of those heady days as BH (Before Hamsters). Now I’m in AH hell, worrying that my kids will see them and put in a late CHristmas present request.

Christ they’re £10 each and yet their hideous noses still look like the erasers on the end of pencils.

Oh oh… SC keeps talking about Go Go’s… and she doesn’t even have any! This doesn’t look good! Am impressed with Gramps’ tenacity BTW. My mother feels deprived if she doesn’t end up going all over town looking for SC’s Xmas presents. I gave her a list of stuff this year at her request and it was all online. She was actually disappointed it was so easy!

Our 3 year old expressed an interest in those little critters a while back. Luckily as we have our own live version, I managed to persuade him that these were a poor 2nd to Twinkle! Gramps sound like a hip n happening blokey. I think we should hear more from him! Lol
