Without remorse I stole this recipe from the lovely @FrauHopkins. I made it several times with different variations; Once as it should be, once without cinnamon and once without the raisins and each time it was delicious.
It’s fab! You just throw everything together at once and, most importantly, The Husband loves it. He is the barometer of my baking. If he’s willing to eat it, more than once, then it’s a winner.

Glad it’s gone down well in your household. It’s my ‘fail-safe recipe’, the one that I know will always turn out tasty even if you vary it a little like you did. Dead easy to make and delicious to eat!
