Dear Gramps
Yesterday it rained … and rained … and rained. Mum and Dad dragged us in to Edinburgh because there was only so much ‘coffee table ping pong’ they could stand back at our lodge.
They took us to the National Museum of Scotland which had just reopened. Apparently Mum’s Grandpa used to take her there but she said it was VERY different now. It was really busy and we had to give hard Yorkshire stares to some children who wouldn’t share the many pressy button things.
After that Dad said we should go and find a show. We walked, and walked and found a giant purple upside down cow. A man with a painted silver face, dressed as a scout, told us there were some amazing shows on the next day.
This is the only photo Mum took yesterday. She said that the rain might break her phone if she took any more.
We went to the cinema and watched Mr Popper’s Penguins. It was really funny. Mum said it was nice to be dry.
Mum says she wants me to make her some windscreen wipers for her glasses.
Wish you were here.
